The Ashippun Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District is trying to reduce the carp population in Ashippun Lake. The DNR has tagged 2 carp in the lake. We are offering a bounty of $500 for the capture of any tagged carp. If you catch a carp with a tag contact the DNR as directed on the tag or send a picture of the tag to the Lake Board. Please be thoughtful with regard to loud music and bright lights when fishing at night. Note that you are responsible for disposal of any carp caught. There is no dumpster or equivalent at the launch.
